I had an ultrasound this week and baby boy is doing great! He's already three pounds! Considering Sprout was only 6lbs, 2oz and Cubbie 5 lbs, 3 oz, I'm wondering how big this little guy's gonna be.
I'm so glad to be in my 3rd trimester. The nauseousness is gone and I'm feeling pretty good. Even my heartburn has lessened, which is weird considering it usually gets worse towards the end.
I am feeling pretty huge though. This picture doesn't really show how far my belly is sticking out. It's safe to say I'm carrying in front!
Today, we are taking a trip to Babies R Us, possibly to buy a new infant car seat (the one from the boys is expired) and a travel size pack and play that will double as a bassinet. It's funny how with your third child, you don't feel the need to go all out but just to have the essentials. Not that this one isn't as important, it's not that at all. It's just I think you realize how little a baby really needs in those first few months.
I'm due April 22nd. Hubby is due to graduate May 18 with his RN, then take boards in June. It will be interesting to see how we manage a newborn with hubby studying for his final and his boards. I'm just praying for a nice, warm Spring so I can get out of the house and go on walks with the baby!

So excited and happy for you all! You look fabulous, by the way!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you. Three sweet sweet boys.
ReplyDeleteAND look at you, so in shape and sporting a baby belly too.
Are you sure you don't want to deliver March 18? I hear that's a great day to be born on. But, I guess you don't want him to be born a month early.
Take care!
You look fabulous, sweetie. Love this pic. The boys are getting so big & cuter all the time. Did you pick out this little dumplings name yet?
ReplyDeleteI haven't been blogging much for months, sporadic at the most. What with my surgeries, eye issues & hubby's scare medically in Nov/Dec ... I didn't care to do anything. Life just kind of stood still. Now that we are all back on track I may get into it even more. If you do FB, lmk. I stay in touch better there.
I am going to be sending you a parcel .. enjoy!
TTFN ~
Hugs & love

ReplyDeleteMM - yep, I'm an investigator now so it's mostly desk work and interviewing people.
You look amazing!! The third child is so much more fun. You are more confident in your parenting abilities and you already know how to balance time bewtween two kids. There is an adjustment period, but three kids is easier than it sounds. :)

ReplyDelete:) In response to your comment on my blog, I used to live in the snow so having all that stuff used to be the norm for me too. It's crazy how hard it is to find down here! I was shocked the first time we went to the snow with the kids a few years back and had to scramble to find stuff then. But at least that time I had a few weeks to plan. This time it was two days before and so we did our best!
ReplyDeleteYes the snow on the hill was packed! And I should have been smarter, cuz' I went sledding all the time as a kid. My daughter has not and did not know what she was in for or even how to hang on. She took off before I had her all set up on the sled. Since she was not sitting properly to begin with she bounced sideways when she hit a bump and then that sent her in a different direction in which she hit another bump and she landed on her side on the side of the sled. No fun. At least I can say she learned something that day.
Yay! A boy!! Omg you look amazing! I'm so excited for you and your boys! Congrats to your hubby....you all survived!
ReplyDeleteYou're so beautiful! :-)

ReplyDeleteYes, for my third while I realized I just needed the essentials I always wanted the nicer essentials rather than just the cheapest we could find with our first :)
